Message from Co-Chairs of the Organising Committee

Dear Friends,

It gives us great pleasure to organise and welcome all of you to this inaugural Science Education Conference in Singapore.

We trust that the conference theme "Science Education: What Works" will draw a large participation from diverse fields within education, both locally and internationally. By sharing and understanding what works for science education, we will be updated on the latest research and trends in science education as well as be informed about innovative teaching strategies within and across the disciplines to empower our students to live well in this fast changing world. The conference strands will provide a platform for engaging researchers and practitioners in making science education work. We trust that this event will be an important meeting place for professionals, educationists, researchers, entrepreneurs and even parents to exchange ideas and consider furthering collaborative research work.

We trust that you will join us to share your insights and critically examine issues pertaining to science education. To all our foreign participants, may you also find the opportunity to explore Singapore and experience a pleasant and invigorating stay.
