By MRT Take the East-West line and alight at Boon Lay MRT station. Take bus service 179 or 199.
By Taxi

Taxis generally cost around S$20 from town. However, note that this may vary depending on booking fees or other surcharges. There is a peak hour surchage of 35% of the metered fare from 7am to 9.30am and from 5pm to 8pm.

To avoid any potential confusion, let the driver know the destination is "National Institute of Education (NIE) at Jalan Bahar".

If you are taking a taxi from campus, it is advisable to call a taxi at the Block 1 foyer as taxis do not frequent the campus.

Car Parking

The map above shows the locations of the car parking facilities (marked CP2 to CP7). Only Car Park 4 (CP4) has free parking. The other car parks charge 1 cent per minute, subject to a daily maximum of S$3.00 per vehicle, regardless of number of entries/exits. The Electronic Payment System (EPS) requires NETS CashCard with sufficient value inserted in the vehicle's IU. CashCard top-up machines are available near most of the car parks.

Participants are advised to arrive early, as parking is likely to be limited due to the large number of delegates attending this conference.

Warning: Wheel clamping is enforced on campus. Vehicles which are parked illegally or indiscriminately may be wheel clamped. A fee of S$50.00 is imposed by NIE campus authorities for the release of the wheel clamp.

Motor Cycle Parking Lots

Motor cycle parking lots are available in CP2, CP3, CP5 and CP7. There are no charges for motor cycle parking. Motor cycle should enter and exit the car park by the side of the car parks barriers.
