Amended ISEC 2009 Proceedings for Download

[7 December 2009] The ISEC 2009 proceedings (amended) is available online. This version includes the full paper entitled “Attitude toward 5T in ‘T5’ design model via D4LP: A case study of selected topic in organic chemistry” by Karntarat Wuttisela (pages 2493 – 2502). The editors apologise for missing out this full paper in the version of the proceedings on the CD.

Keynote and Workshop Files for Download

[30 November 2009] Selected files have been kindly provided by the keynote speakers for sharing with participants, and are available for download. These are provided as-is by the respective authors, and copyright remains with them.

Online Photo Albums

[24 November 2009] Day 1 of the conference is off to a good start. Photos of the key events like the Opening Ceremony, as well as the daily proceedings will be uploaded to our Photo Gallery regularly. Getting Here

[12 November 2009] Details on bus transport from the conference hotels to the conference venue have been sent via email to all foreign participants. For participants making their own way to NIE, please see How to Get Here.

Exciting Tours for Visitors to Singapore

[6 November 2009] Dynasty Travel Pte Ltd has been appointed to offer ISEC 2009 foreign delegates a range of sightseeing tours to popular destinations around Singapore. These trips have been planned with the conference schedule in mind, allowing delegates to relax and take in the sights after a fruitful day's discussions.

Full Paper Submission by 15 October

[2 October 2009] Presenters are reminded to submit their full-papers by 15 October 2009 for inclusion in the CD.

Registration Closes Friday 25 September 2009

[9 September 2009] Due to overwhelming response, we have almost reached capacity for conference participation. Hence, we will regrettably have to close conference registration earlier than expected. If you wish to participate in ISEC 2009, please register by latest Friday, 25 September 2009.

e-Payment problems? Install and enable Java!

[9 September 2009] A few participants have reported experiencing difficulties successfully completing the online registration process. Specifically, there is a problem completing the credit-card payment transaction. Solution: The e-payment system operated by the vendor (eNETS) requires a Java-enabled Browser with the latest version of Java ('JRE') installed. Please install and/or enable Java prior to completing the registration payment process.

Extension of Early Bird Rates for Registration

[1 September 2009] The special rates for Early Bird Registration have been extended till the end of the week (4 September 2009). Regular rates for registration will apply from 5 September 2009. Hurry, register now!

Submission of Full Papers

[16 July 2009] Authors who have been notified that their abstracts are accepted may submit their full papers online by latest 1 September 2009 15 October 2009. The template document and submission link can be found at http://www.nsse.nie.edu.sg/isec2009/submit/

Abstracts Submission now Closed

[16 July 2009] The submission of Abstract has closed. Many interesting and high-quality submissions were received which should make for an exciting and stimulating conference!

Best Paper Awards

[19 May 2009] The ISEC Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the ISEC-Springer Best Paper Awards 2009. The best paper in each of two categories will be given an award and prizes during the conference. Find out more »

Deadline for Abstracts and Full Papers Extended

[12 May 2009] The deadline for submission of Abstract proposals has been extended to 15 July 2009, and the submission of Full Papers to 15 October 2009.

First Call for Papers
